Zydeco Kitchen & Cocktails: A Trendy Destination for New American Cuisine in Bend, OR

I enjoyed my meal at Zydeco. I had the cornbread, Brussels sprouts, blackened redfish, carrot cake, and an Anejo Fashioned. The service was excellent and personal. If I am back in Bend, I will revisit Zydeco.

Over the moon about this Southern-inspired restaurant! It’s a cozy spot located in downtown Bend with a great atmosphere. Even without a reservation, they were able to accommodate us at their communal table in the bar area, which ended up being a great experience. The service was outstanding—our server was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to walk us through the menu, thoughtfully describing each specialty dish. Every item we ordered exceeded our expectations. The BBQ shrimp, roasted marrow bone, shrimp & crawfish jambalaya, and key lime pie were all exceptional. I would highly recommend any of them and can’t wait to come back.

5.? Star food. The best Red fish and crab I've ever had. If you are in Bend Oregon, this is a must stop. Right downtown, great service and even better food. You'll never be disappointed with the menu options here. Enjoy a bottle of wine because 1 or 2 glasses will not satisfy.

The pork chop here is easily the best I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned, and full of balanced flavor. What really sets this place apart, though, is the service. The staff works seamlessly as a team, and it makes the entire dining experience outstanding. You can tell they’re true professionals, and it shows in every detail. We stayed in Bend for four nights and tried several restaurants, and Zydeco was absolutely one of our favorites. Great cocktails too!

Food was incredibly good! We had just gone to New Orleans a couple of months ago so we were hesitant of coming here thinking it wouldn’t compare. But wow, it was phenomenal! And the service was also top notch. Our waiter Chris was extremely attentive and made our dinner with three kids feel easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend this place. Highly recommend the clams and mussels, oysters with their homemade fermented hot sauce, shrimp app, steak frites and pork chop. Everything else was also very good but those were our favorites.

Loved our food and entire experience! Our servers (if memory serves, Jordan and Dustin) were both personable, attentive and gave great recommendations. Highly recommend the bbq shrimp appetizer, bread, pork chop and redfish.

Our neighbors gave us a gift certificate to go have dinner. My wife and I were excited About going to dinner here again and it had been a while and it was a little noisy, but we expected that my wife had the grilled halibut and I had the shrimp jambalaya. Our appetizers were very good. Best margarita that I’ve tasted in a long time. Service was very, very good for dessert. We decided to get us a piece of carrot cake to go and split it when we got home. , we should’ve gotten two pieces of carrot cake the carrot cake for dessert. Highly recommended.

This is one of the best restaurants we have eaten in since we moved to the PNW less than a year ago. Everything about the place is a high end, service oriented experience. I have been twice now and both times the food was splendid - literally as good as you will get anywhere. The menu is creative without being unnecessarily so. On my first visit service was 5 stars, my second 4. I don't normally like to complain, especially when the food is THAT good but I feel like we caught a server on an off day. Here what went very well: our food took longer than expected, and even before I asked, a manager was the person who tabled our plates and apologized for the extra time because she inspected the food and sent it back to be re-made as it did not meet the standard. I liked that - quality control before it hits the table. On nights you expect the towns restaurants to be busy, be sure to have a reservation as no doubt, this place is not a secret
